Elk Hunt 2010

We went elk hunting!
Scott had a cow elk tag near LOA, Ut.
So we packed up the camper (do you know how much stuff
it takes to go camping with me and a baby...)
and headed out into the snowy wilderness.

Grandma and Grandpa Judd went too.

It was quite an adventure.  We learned that even though the snow
is only a few inches in some places- it can be deceptively deep
in the drifts. We went up over a hill and suddenly we sank
to the frame in the truck.

We also realized that a shovel would have been handy.
Our tools consisted of a milk jug, an Arby's cup...

...and an ice scrapper.  Nice, huh.

Mmmm... Memories......

As you can see, we didn't do much of the digging.

After a couple of hours and just before dark-
we got out!   :)

Despite the milk freezing in the fridge, the camper
was super warm. Scott took good care of us.
It was a fun trip.

I think he likes hunting!

We love the holidays!

Other than the cold, I love this time of year.  It's a time when
we get to hang out with family....

and watch football with my Dad...

Its a time of  warm jammies with cute little feet.

We get to eat pumpkin pie for breakfast...

This is the time of year for camo-

which I think gets cuter the smaller it is.  :)

Hope your Holidays are merry and bright!

Halloween 2010

Judd was a little bear for Halloween. He looked so cute.

Judd's cousin, Mason was a cop.

And one of his other cousins, Rain, was a princess.
I missed getting pictures of all the other cousins, but they were cute too.

He has started licking everything.
Here, he is licking his costume and he did it all night.
Silly little bear.

Puppy Love

Every boy needs a puppy.

This is Otis and believe it or not he is still a puppy.
He is an American Bulldog and about two yrs old..

The size difference is amazing.
I guess maybe we could get a little saddle
and Judd could ride him like a horse.  :)

Needless to say, we go through a lot of dog food.

I think they are going to be great buddies.

This is my dog, Foxy.
She is a tiny Pomeranian and
she is dainty in about everything she does.
She will go get a mouthful of dog food and
bring it into the living room and drop it-
so she can eat it one piece at a time.

This is Scott's dog, Otis. This is how he sleeps.

He fell asleep chewing on his rawhide.

The picnic table is one of his favorite places.

He was tiny once.

They just grow up so fast.

Baby Blessing

Eli Judd Colson was named after Scott's
Great-Great-Grandpa, Eli Judd.
He was being so patient.
Isn't that the saddest face?

Judd with Tata and Nana T

Judd with Scott's sister, Lacy.
He cried like this the whole time we were taking pictures
until he got his binky. But that was ok because he was so
good the rest of the time, even though his
little suit had like four layers.

Judd with Scott and my Dad.
I guess he didn't cry the whole time.
My Dad must have the magic touch.

Us with my Mom and Dad.
The cutest little suit was thanks to Scott, (for letting me find
the perfect one, even though it took three tries) and to my
Mom who is can fix anything so that it fit him exactly.

Isn't he so cute in his little suit with his Dad.
He looks like a little old man. :)

We love you, sweet boy.

Mom's new camera

I'm not the best person with technology and electronic devices.  I got a new camera because I want to capture all the memories I can. Babies do so many cute things and grow so fast so I guess the only way to get better is to practice.
He reminds me of a little turtle :)

Way too much flash, Mom!

Bath Time!
Now every time I pull out my camera Judd quits smiling.
I am pretty sure he gets that from his Dad.

His smile is so cute! I just have to be fast to catch a picture of it.
Scott says he has my tongue because I stick it out when I am concentrating.

This is at the doctor's office for his two month shots.
Poor guy, I don't know who it was harder on- me or him.

He was in the 80th percentile for height.
Maybe he will get a little height from his Uncle Colt.
