Judd Turns Two

I can't believe my baby is two.  He is such a
fun little boy.  He loves most machines that you can
ride on such as tractors, backhoes, bobcats...
His favorite animal at the moment is crocodiles.
I found a Crocodile Hunter DVD and now we get to watch "dile"
at least once a day. (sometimes more if it doesn't get "lost".)

He loves anything outdoors.
Flowers, dirt piles, bugs, antlers....

 "smelling" his flower.

He also loves anything sweet.
(I think he gets his sweet tooth from me.)
Tookies (cookies), cream (ice cream or frosting), the
marshmallows from Lucky Charms...-nothing is safe.  He even
knows where I keep my gum in my purse and raids it constantly.

He has recently discovered the library and loves it.
It's crazy- he totally put the headphones on by himself.
How do they know?!

This is Judd's hat that is "just like his Dad's"
(notice the antlers that he feels like he needs to pack around.
I use to not worry so much but he accidentally stabbed Scott in
the eye with a butter knife.  Now I worry more about all the sharp,
pointy objects that he insists on playing with.)

He felt like Otis needed a turn wearing the hat.

Summer Memories

There are so many fun things for a little boy
to do in the summer time.
Like catch teeny, tiny horny toads after it rains.

Judd has practiced being soft with animals a lot
and tries to remember to be careful.

There are old tractors to play on

and so many mud puddles to jump in.

Judd loves water and dirt-
so when you mix the two together
he is in heaven....

Frog Creek (aka Kanab Creek)
The kids call it Frog Creek because sometimes there are little frogs.

You would think a hot dog roast would be right up
Judd's alley since that is all he will eat at home- but instead
he wouldn't part with the bag of really sandy Cheetos...

Frog Creek was so fun with all the cousins!
Judd had lots of fun even though he is a little out numbered. :)

Summer time also means ice cream cones

and watering the garden.
So many fun, memories.

Daddy's Helper

We needed some sand for our backyard so
Scott and Judd went to work in the backhoe.

Judd loved it.  He is a pretty good helper.
He kept trying to push all the buttons and pull any
levers that looked like they would move...

He has started doing this little scrunchy face.
I don't know where he picked it up.

He even helped Dad steer.

Such a happy, little helper.

Here is our big pile of sand just waiting to be loaded.

Resting in the shade.

love this little boy...

Judd is the sweetest little boy.
He does some of the cutest things.

He loved the parade and sat on the sidewalk and
clapped and waved at everyone.

He loves the dog at the public library.
We have to practice being quiet....

My mom has the tiniest, little saddle that
Judd thinks he needs to sit on every time we go
down there. He even thinks people need
to carry him around so he doesn't have to get off.

Mom and Dad spoil him.

He loves horses.

I love his cute little wranglers and boots

Judd was at Levi's birthday party and they had
a photo booth.  He was so serious..

He loves flowers.

I'm not sure what he was doing but Otis was
being very patient.

He has quite the fashion sense.

Judd LOVES to read books.

This picture cracked me up. He is at the
beauty salon waiting to get his hair cut.
Luckily, they had a magazine with animals in it
because usually he is running around.

Such a funny, sweet, little boy....

Idaho Family Reunion

We went to Idaho for the Henderson Family Reunion.
We were lucky and my Dad rode with us.  I think he was
pretty brave to not be intimidated at the thought of a nine hour
car ride with a two year old. I was worried even if he wasn't....
But everything went smoothly and we had lots of fun!

My Dad is so cute with Judd.  They had fun watching
the fish get fed at Cabelas.

They discovered all sorts of animals there too.
Judd was in Heaven...

He got lots of 4-wheeler rides,

and had lots of cousins to play with.

He is still little small for sack races but that didn't
keep him from wanting to try.

He really liked the swings.  He was laughing
so hard he almost fell out.  It was so fun to see
such simple and sheer joy.

There was even a giant slip 'n slide.

This picture makes me smile.  Grandma and Grandpa
work so hard and never miss a moment to catch a few zzzs.

Grandpa Henderson, Paca, and Judd

I love these pictures.  They turned out so cute.

We went fishing and Judd totally loved it.

He was reeling the fish in and everything.

When one of them poked him with his fin Judd wasn't
thrilled about that.  He still wanted to fish but not touch them.
He must get that from me. :)

This is how I think he would rather spend his Sundays
Run Free!

We went to church there and then started for home.
It was a fun trip.

Love our Sweet Boy.
